Two items for today

Senator Hagel today set forth his timetable on deciding whether or not to run for President in 2008.

About his own political future, Hagel said he would decide whether he would seek the 2008 Republican presidential nomination following midterm elections in November.

“I've said before that I will make a decision after this year's elections,” he said.
