Got my book from Amazon a few days ago. He sure uses the word blunder a lot in the first chapter. Other than that, am very intrigued by his ideas for diplomatic solution to world problems. Communication is definitely the key. McCain doesn't think we should be talking to our adversaries and Hagel believes engaging them is even more important than meeting with our allies. It's also nice that he expressed in the early pages his theory about the root of all ills, and that is poverty. He's a compassionate, thoughtful person and I'm sorry to see him leave public office. I wish the next president (from either party) would nominate him for Secretary of State or Defense.
